About Immy
Immy Louise Thomas is an AIPP award-winning music photographer and director with over a decade of experience in the media industry. Known for her bold visual storytelling and dynamic style, she has spent the past ten years capturing the energy and essence of music through both stills and motion.
Her work spans documenting live performances, artist portraits, Super 8 videos, music videos, and behind-the-scenes storytelling; always with a cinematic edge and an intuitive emotional connection.
While Immy’s background is rooted in editorial music photography and cultural documentation, she is now evolving into the next chapter of her practice as an experimental filmmaker. Since completing her Bachelor of Photography, she has been developing a slate of short and feature-length film projects, spanning both fiction and documentary genres. Selected treatments and story synopses are available to view on her portfolio, and are currently open to creative collaboration and production opportunities.
Immy is currently open to working on projects across music, film, and multidisciplinary art.
